Los Angeles Breast Implants

In a city like Los Angeles, where plastic surgery is just as widespread as sunny days, breast enhancement (utilizing either saline or silicone breast implants) is a fairly common procedure. Mossi Salibian M.D. specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, with the satisfaction of his patients as his top priority.

There are two kinds of breast implants available:

Saline
Currently the most frequently used implant in the U.S.; saline implants vary in shell surface (i.e. smooth or textured), volume, shell thickness, profile, and shape (round or anatomical). Most implants are filled at the time of surgery. However there are implants available that come pre-filled by the manufacturer, but they are not currently approved by the FDA.
Silicone
Silicone implants have three layers of shell surrounding the implant, and while this reduces the amount of gel bleed, it does make the shell a bit harder, due to the thickness of the shell. Silicone implants come pre-filled. The only real drawback to this is that the incision required to insert them must be a bit longer than what would be needed to insert an empty implant.
The best way to decide which breast implants are best for you is by scheduling a consultation with Dr. Salibian at his Los Angeles clinic and discussing your options. He will gladly listen to your needs, desires, and concerns, and together you can decide the best possible course of action - and best choice of breast implants - for you!

Trust in Dr. Salibian and he can give you the great figure you've always wanted.
